Directions
Getting to MIT offers all the information one needs. It includes driving directions, airport instructions, parking information and more.
The main event will take place in E15-070, Bartos Theatre, MIT Media Lab. The street address is 20 Ames Street.
Parking is located at the Cambridge Center West Garage. This mesh steel sided building is tucked in between the Tech Square buildings behind the Broad Center (NE30) and Whitehead Institute. Easiest access is via Galileo Way between Main Street and Broadway.
The entrance to the garage can also be accessed from Ames Street (between the Broad building and the Startbucks). There is another garage on Ames Street across the street behind Legal Seafood and the Marriott, but this is THE WRONG GARAGE.
See http://whereis.mit.edu/map-jpg for a campus map. The garage is not on it, but the Broad Institute NE30 will orient you.
