Particle Physics Collaboration

The Particle Physics Collaboration plays a leading role in several major high energy physics projects. Subsets of the group collaborate on physics projects in collaboration with other institutions. The projects are the Collider Detector at Fermilab (CDF), the Compact Muon Solenoid Experiment (CERN, Geneva, Switzerland), the PHOBOS experiment at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider at Brookhaven National Laboratory, the SLAC Large Detector (SLD) at SLAC in Palo Alto, California, and the ATLAS Experiment (CERN, Geneva, Switzerland). The PPC group is playing an especially important leadership role in the CDF experiment at Fermilab.
